The date and place have been set for the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton: Friday, April 29, 2011 in Westminster Abbey. Although it took less than a week between the announcement of the royal engagement and the setting of the wedding date, for some people it felt like an eternity! One could picture the chic royal bride in an elegant all-over lace gown with a long veil. Silk organza would be another beautiful option for Kate's April wedding gown. The bride's personal style leans towards clean sophisticated lines, so it is hard to imagine her wearing a frou-frou bridal gown like Princess Diana did.
